BEDS: What they are, how to make them

Beds are essential items in minecraft. They prevent you from having to stay awake through the night, which allows you to not get killed by monsters. It must be night in order to sleep, or it will say on the screen:
"you can only sleep at night". You can't sleep when there are monsters nearby, either.







 PLACING: You place a bed by right clicking the ground while holding a bed. A bed will take up 2 blocks of space.

REMOVING: To remove, punch the bed until it breaks. You can retrieve the bed after it is broken.


 SLEEPING: When you fall asleep, you will lie in the bed, and the screen will fade into blackness. When you get up, it will be morning.

CRAFTING: Here is how to make a bed

top: wool.    bottom: wood planks.

You can make a bed out of any type of wood planks or wool. You make wood planks by putting a wood block in your crafting.


GETTING WOOL: It is possible to get wool by either killing sheep, seen below

all the colors of naturally found sheep

or, you can shear sheep by right clicking sheep with shears. some wool will fall from them.

sheep: HEY!!!

SLEEPING IN THE NETHER, AND IN THE END: If you try to do this, your bed will blow to smithereens, and you will probably die. Don't do it.

DEATH BY SUFFOCATION: You will start to suffocate if your ceiling is to low, and you go to sleep on a bed.

INSTANT DEATH!!!!
