The Guide to Ocelots

Ocelots, a type of wild cat, can be jungle biomes in minecraft.

WILD OCELOT BEHAVIOR:  An Ocelot will naturally run away when approached.  The only way to make an Ocelot move toward you, is to lure it with raw fish.

Wild and tamed Ocelots will hunt chickens. Here's a study I did with the ocelots:

BEFORE: I left 10 chickens with 3 ocelots for 5 minutes

AFTER: All chickens are hunted.

 HEALTH:  An Ocelot has ten hearts in health.

ATTACK:  An Ocelot will not attack anything, except chickens.

SCARDEY CREEPERS!!:  It turns out that creepers are surprisingly scared of cats.  If a cat nears an creeper, it will run away. (only with the tamed cats!)

TAMING:  To tame an Ocelot, hold a raw fish in your hand, and approach the Ocelot until it slowly starts walking toward you. DONT MAKE ANY SUDDEN MOVEMENTS.  Then, right click the Ocelot with the raw fish, until the Ocelot has hearts around it.

 TAMED CAT'S BEHAVIOR:  Cat tend to run, jump, and then sit onto active furnaces, beds, and chests.

COLORS: These are all the colors a cat will come in. A cat will be one of these three colors when tamed.

 SIT UP AND SIT DOWN:  Cats will sit up when right clicked after sitting.  This means they will follow you where ever you go.  Right clicking cats will make them sit down, if they have been standing.  This means they will stay put, until you make them sit up.

TELEPORTING: Cats will teleport to you if you are 60 blocks away from them, if they are standing.

BREEDING:  Feed a fish to a cat until it has hearts around it.  Do this to another cat if they are standing.  They will go to each other, like this:
