ABOUT: Creepers are hostile mobs that try to kill you by exploding near you. Here is a creeper:

Creepers will walk up to you, and when they are about to explode you will here a hissing noise (a fuse burning) and the creeper will start to become larger and it will be flashing white. Then it will explode. If it is close enough to you, it will kill you instantly. When exploding, creepers will create a crater in the ground, that can destroy buildings. Creepers are especially dangerous because they are silent, except for when they are about to explode. Creepers have 10 hearts in health. Creepers will only blow up if they are 4 blocks or less away from you.

HOW TO KILL: It isn't too hard to kill a creeper. Here's how to do it. One way is to shoot it to death with a bow and arrow. Another way is to kill it with a sword. To kill it with a sword, run quickly up to it, strike, and run back. The creeper won't blow up because you are out of its explosion range. Repeat this until it is dead.
CHARGED CREEPERS: Charged creepers are creepers that have a more powerful explosion, and have a larger explosion range. These charged creepers are very rare, and become charged when struck by a lightning bolt. I wouldn't suggest fighting a charged creeper.

DROPS: A creeper will drop 0-2 gunpowder when killed. A creeper will also drop disks when shot and killed by an arrow shot by a skeleton. A disk is fairly difficult to get, but not impossible, I've done it.
